Technical Support Specialist
Location: Fully Remote or based in Daresbury HQ
Salary up to: £45,000 + Company Benefits
Full-time, Permanent

We are delighted to be working with a versatile business whose main aim is to combat supply chain issues within manufacturing & engineering businesses.

The software that they provide is integrated to the existing ERP/MRP system and helps create supply chain intelligence, which will aim to improve the quality, delivery, and cost performance of suppliers.

Due to company growth, they are now looking to add two Technical Support Specialists to work closely with the end customer to ensure that the portal has all the functionality required and ensure a seamless delivery of the software.

Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
  • Work with the customers and account management to define project goals and objectives & work with the delivery team to ensure that they understand the requirements fully.
  • Fully understand the customers need to clarify their needs and translate them into agile user stories and user interface mock-ups.
  • Develop detailed software design specifications that outline the user journey, interface, backend logic, entity-relationship diagrams, and status diagrams.
  • Ensure that delivery of projects is kept on time by working with the delivery team by creating a release plan.
  • Lead the customer acceptance testing and support phases to make sure that the software is launched seamlessly.
  • Work closely with the Solution Architects team in understanding requirements.

Technical Support Specialist
Essential Experience/ Skills/ Qualifications
  • You will be degree qualified within a computer science or have direct experience in a software development or maintenance of a customer facing system.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
  • Application development experience using C# NET
  • Experience in user stories and generating wireframes.
  • Ability to manage projects from cradle to grave.
  • Understanding of software development processes.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, databases, APIs, and system integration. Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
