Key Skills/Experience

• Vendor management skills, experience of operating in with large IT vendors.
• Governance / assurance of architectural designs, ensuring compliance to enterprise principles and technology strategy drivers.
• Governance of functional / non-functions requirements and delivery scope throughout the project life-cycle.
• Business Process Analysis
• Strong Microsoft Technologybackground.
• Experience of designing and delivering solutions in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS andSaaS).
• Experience of Azure components specifically: Azure SQL, Logic Apps, Service Fabric, Data Factory, Azure Storage, Application Insightsetc.

Key Responsibilities

• Using your skills knowledge and expertise in the design of infrastructure required to support solutions and champion new technologies.
• Take ownership and work with business in the design and delivery of appropriately scoped architectural solutions.
• Ensure high quality documentation.
• Support Software Development teams.
• Act as an escalation point for unresolved technical issues.
• Oversee technical aspect of project delivery.
• Use expertise to support robust security enhancements.
• Mentor the IT team.

It is essential that all Technical Architects have first class communication skills - both written and verbal, great team working skills, well organised, show initiative, logical thinker, work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
