The Company
Nigel Wright are working with a fast growth food organisation that are looking to recruit a Technical Services Manager. 

Not many roles offer the chance to work with a Global Leadership team and it's Founders! As the Technical Services Manager you will be central to delivering on the companies mission – creating great food, to build a successful business that will make a positive change to the world.

Working with a fast growth business, you will be hands-on, and have the determination to get things done, rolling your sleeves up and taking ownership for technical. You will have a natural ability to influence, whilst helping people understand the importance of document control, compliance, database and nutritional management. You will work with suppliers to ensure their products meet the company values, with co-manufactures to make sure the product exceeds customer expectations, and with the leadership team to help them understand the importance of your job!

The Role
We are looking for someone passionate, who wants to be part of the success story. Yes, you will have proven experience working in a technical function of a food manufacturing business, but more importantly you will be excited by the nature of a business that is determined to break boundaries. Your role will be to provide technical support and assistance to customers, clients, or internal teams in relation to food products and services.  You will work closely with the Technical Manager to address technical issues, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and maintain the quality standards of the company's products. This role will also include some packaging technology leadership. Understanding the supplier base, what is available on the market and liaising with NPD/ Marketing for the best type of packaging for their brands.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:

•    You will be a passionate supporter, and promoter of the business.
•    Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
•    Understanding of quality control principles and practices in the food industry.
•    Familiarity with food manufacturing processes, ingredients, and packaging materials.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse technical issues.
•    Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and regulatory authorities.
•    Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
•    Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
•    Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving industry requirements and technologies.
•    Curiosity and desire to do things differently.
