Areas to be covered: Predominately Midlands
However will go after projects in the North, East Anglia and North London
Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonuses giving circa £10,000
Benefits: Full Benefits Package + Company Car (Hybrid or Electric)
The role of the Technical Sales Manager - Underfloor Heating will involve:
- Technical Sales Manager position, selling the design, supply and installation of underfloor heating systems
- Selling into M+E contractors, regional developers & larger plumbing sub-contractors
- Your time will be focused on new business development (70%) & account management (30%)
- You will inherit between 40-50 active accounts
- Expected to spend 2-3 days on the road, with monthly visits to London office
- Targeted to achieve £1m by the end of your second year
- Dealing with order values of £10,000 - £500,000 per project
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager - Underfloor Heating with:
- Must have sold into M&E contractors and/or regional developers
- Ideally with some pre-existing contacts with housebuilders or M&E contractor’s
- Must have field sales experience within the plumbing & heating or associated sectors such as: HVAC products, mechanical products, renewables, heating controls, commercial boilers, radiators, valves etc.
- Must have contract selling/tender management experience
- Experience with underfloor heating would be advantageous, however not essential
- A professional & personable manner both on the phone and in person
- Self-motivated, confident, resilient, driven and ambitious
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities
- Highly organised and focused with strong time management skills
