Technical Sales Engineer

We have a fantastic new role for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer working for a local business who are defying current economic downturn and are experiencing growth and success.

With further plans to expand the company and already seeking further business properties, they are now looking to expand their sales team.

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be the linchpin between Sales and Engineering departments, ensuring a seamless customer journey from a technical viewpoint.

You will support your Sales colleagues and customers with your technical prowess, ensuring that the customer needs are technically viable, and deliverable, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Who we are looking for:

To be successful candidates must have the following:

  • A degree or similar in Automotive Design, Automotive Engineering, or similar
  • Experience of using 2D & 3D CAD design software, ideally SolidWorks or similar
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of successful design projects
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Excellent level of written and verbal communication. 
  • Ability to work in collaboration with colleagues across the business
  • Ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience
