Technical Account Manager

Basingstoke, Hampshire

Up to 32k Basic DPE + 10K OTE Bonus

We are recruiting a Technical Account Manager on behalf of a company in Basingstoke, Hampshire. This is an expansion role, and the successful applicant will be sat within a passionate and proactive sales and marketing team where they will hold responsibility for providing technical account management predominantly to existing dealers.

This Account Management role is around 50% phone work and 50% supporting admin.

The Job:

  • Taking inbound calls relating to business enquiries & the ordering of technical products
  • Making outbound calls to predominantly existing / longstanding clients relating to new products, offers / deals etc
  • Quoting on product orders
  • Advising dealers on appropriate products, quoting on order of sales, processing and completing sales
  • Closing down sales with predominantly existing customers, negotiating terms and conditions
  • Strategic research of trends and sales opportunities
  • Working closely with other members of internal sales team / external sales / marketing & Customer service
  • Keeping abreast of new products and services
  • Working towards healthy KPI's
  • Acting as the team escalation for more technical enquiries

You:

  • Have an exceptional telephone manner with a business / sales focus approach!
  • Experience within a technical, electronics or IT product and an interest to learn
  • The desire to be in a role focused on generating sales
  • An organised and proactive approach to work
