A client of mine who work in the scientific instrumentation and equipment industry are looking for a Technical Project Manager on a contract basis

Here are the key details:

Job Type: Contract - initial 3 months with possible extension
Rate: £450-500 p/d
Location: Oxfordshire - 5 days a week on site

Key Tasks:

  • Ensure that the project meets its performance, prime and timescale objectives
  • Build a cross-functional project plan taking into account of all the tasks required to deliver the project, risk mitigation must be reflected in the plan


About You:

  • Required -
    • Extensive experience in product or equipment design (medium volume)
    • NPI experience
    • Extensive Project Management experience including managing multiple projects at once working to cost, quality and timescales objectives
  • Desirable -
    • Understanding of complex scientific equipment, ideally with an understanding of magnetics or cryogenic systems
