Technical Manager

North Acton

Up to £55,000 per annum

Diamond Search Recruitment are seeking a dynamic individual to oversee the technical operations and maintain the highest standards of product excellence.


As the Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in sustaining the bakery's reputation for quality by ensuring that all products meet strict food safety and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Thorough inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety standards.
  • To maintain or have maintained all records as requested by HACCP &
  • CCPs.
  • Maintain good hygiene standards in all factories.
  • CCP verification and Validation
  • Manage Micro schedule.
  • Mange site taste panel
  • To maintain the traceability system with any product produced.
  • Manage Recipe Analysis and Nutrition Fact Labelling.
  • To create, update and maintain the specs including retailers.
  • To carry out the internal audits PRP / GMP /SOP audits, communicate results with site team.
  • To participate in the HACCP, TACCP and VACCP team and delegate as necessary.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical management role within the food industry, preferably in bakery.
  • Previous experience in BRC audits.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Minimum Level 3 of both HACCP and Food Safety.
  • Knowledge and experience of retailer manufacturing standards.
