Technical Engineer

Reed Engineering are currently working with an innovative engineering company based near Chelmsford who develop high tech solutions for a variety of industries.

Due to a new project on the horizon, they are looking for a skilled engineer to join them as a technical engineer to support the success of this project.

The successful candidate will assist with the design and integration of hydrogen systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control elements.

Desirable skillset:

• Hydrogen system training e.g., CompEx, Swagelok.

• 2D and 3D CAD experience e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, and SolidWorks.

• Experience in HMI systems.

• Working knowledge and understanding of RS232/422, NMEA, CAN-bus, J1939 and Linux / Python scripting.

• Satcom, Iridium, LTE, RF / Wi-Fi Communications Systems understanding but training given.

• Marine background and knowledge of maritime systems and standards would also be advantageous.
