Working with a global manufacturing company within their technical operations based in Gillingham, as Technical Centre manager, you will be a key member of the management team and Production Engineering. Working as a pivotal interface with other site functions, you will enable the development of products and systems to the required cost, performance and quality target to ensure a seamless launch of products and customer programmes. Additionally, you will focus on CI, efficiencies and capabilities of teams to define and achieve targets. You will be promoting an environmental culture, maintaining ISO14001 and IATF 16949 , developing the team to their highest potential with an eye on succession planning, with a clear plan on delivery of projects within budget .

About you

With a minimum of 5 years' experience from within an engineering or manufacturing environment, you will be a strategic thinker, able to manage a large number of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. As a development leader of people, your ability to manage multi-functional teams will be key to the successful delivery of projects and providing a first-in-class service. Knowledge of fuel injection systems and products, IC engines and application is required for consideration.
