The Technical Assistant Role

A unique challenge within a newly formed division of a well-established specialist ingredients business.

We're looking for a genuine all-rounder who can help support the growth of the business through first class technical support, helping to ensure customers have the required technical information to make the company's products are first choice for a wide range of applications.

You will help to build the company reputation for first quality, ethically sourced products.

1. Completing specifications.
2. Certificates Of Analysis/Conformance.
3. Supplier/Customer Questionnaires.
4. Liaising with laboratories re analysis for the likes of pesticides/micro.
5. Keeping the technical/quality database up to date.
6. Working also with the transport desk to ensure delivery documentation is in order.
7. Other administrative tasks as required by the business.

THE CANDIDATE

We're looking for an adaptable graduate with food industry experience. Someone one hands on who can grow into and excellent opportunity, who's not afraid to take on new challenges.

• You will ideally be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject
• You will be able to manage your own workload/client base so will be organised, effective and customer focussed.
• Excellent communication skills are a must, coupled with the ability to liase directly with suppliers and customers.
• As you would expect in a young exciting business we need someone who is prepared to go the extra mile!
• Would be great for some who is enthusiastic about natural products and fair-trade goods.
• You'll need enthusiasm, a real belief in yourself , the business and your suppliers and customers goals
