Venn Group is currently working with an NHS Trust based in London to work within the IM&T Department as a Technology and Solutions Architecture subject matter expert. This role provides an opportunity to make a real difference to healthcare services delivered across London.

Salary: £66,718 - £76,271 DOE + excellent benefits package
Location: London – Onsite with hybrid working

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: Perm 

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify the Trust’s current business and technology architectures and develop designs and long term technology roadmaps for all business areas
• Work closely with various teams including the Integration, Infrastructure / Applications and Test Teams to ensure the hardware designs have been documented (HLD/LLD design documentation updates)
• Ensure the design is cognisant of the infra/user applications that are being hosted and document how the hardware will roll out across the estate with minimal impact
• Produce designs of information, software and infrastructure systems and services across all functions, using standardised principles
• Collate and provide structured architectural information to help IM&T manage and change the technical environment
• Monitor Architecture services against a recognised Architecture Maturity Model
• Provided architectural expertise and assistance to staff and managers in and outside IM&T

The ideal candidate will have:

• Recent and relevant technical and solutions design experience within a large organisation using a recognised framework
• Experience working in a spinal leaf model environment
• Working knowledge of Data Centre Architecture principles
• Routing and switching experience, including voice domain, systems, data and Infrastructure security
• TOGAF / ZACHMANN Framework experience
• Broad and detailed knowledge of modern design techniques and technologies
