Job Title: Technical Account Manager
Location: Halesowen
Salary: Up to £35,000


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Account Manager to join an established managed IT services provider based in Halesowen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, being the primary point of contact for all clients and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


* Manage customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and responding to customer enquiries including growth and development
* Develop and maintain a clear understanding of customer needs and requirements, advising how their services and products can address their needs
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
* Prepare technical proposals, demonstrations and proof of concept presentations
* Maintain and update CRM system with relevant client updates and records
* Monitor and report on customer service performance
* Identify opportunities for improvement

Technical Skills Required:


* Previous experience in a customer service/account management/sales executive role desirably essentially within the managed IT services industry
* Proven account and relationship management experience
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as strong negotiation skills
* Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software solutions, networking and cloud technologies
* Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
