Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Team Manager with relevant practice experience to join our Children in Care Team in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. This is a Maternity Cover post for 12 months, subject to circumstances. In this role, you will work collaboratively to pursue the best outcomes for children and young people, focusing on driving progress, securing stability, and achieving permanence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators, set targets, and enhance service delivery.
  • Produce high-quality reports for stakeholders, conduct case planning and analysis, and ensure thorough risk assessment.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with partner agencies to keep children and young people at the forefront.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration (SWE)
  • Significant experience in a ATM/ TM social work role, preferably in CIC/LAC.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks, legislation, and best practices.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and anti-discriminatory practices.
  • Experience in assessing the needs of children and families, adhering to the Framework for Assessment.
