A leading UK Private Client Investment Management Company who regularly appear in the UK’s Top 100 Companies to work for and have won numerous industry awards for excellence are looking to recruit a highly competent individual to lead a growing support team, who support the Investment Managers. Working in their Investment Portfolio Support function you will be joining a highly professional team who pride themselves creating a positive working environment that is enjoyable and very personable.

The role will involve -

  • Lead and manage a team; allocating work, managing workflow and ensure investment Managers, clients and introducers are efficiently supported.
  • Help mentor and develop more junior members of the team. Help with performance reviews, identify training requirements and set personal development objectives.
  • Take an active role in weekly management meetings, identifying improvement areas, making recommendations and help with the strategic development of an expanding department.
  • Work with the Head of Portfolio Administration, supporting with projects, development initiatives, procedural enhancements and any workflow issues.
  • Review work ensuring all client reports are written to the required standard and within the timescales required for presentation. Liaise with the report writing team and resolve any issues.
  • Act as a department point of contact for technical queries across all types of investment accounts.
  • Help maintain relationships with introducers. Take ownership for relationship management and assisting with any queries or requirements.
  • Help identify and manage any escalating risks, ensure the team is working within the risk management culture and framework set up.
  • Develop your own skills and knowledge ensuring that you are achieving your own personal development goals.
