Your new role
The role of Children\'s Team Leader is to work as part of the team to meet the needs of the young people in residence, but also to be able to work in conjunction with the management to meet a varied list of duties such as: planning team rotas, attending meetings with managers, support with the training of new staff.
Working in a residential environment on a rota with shift patter: 0800-2300 plus sleep in 2-3 times a week.
The working day can be very unpredictable, being adaptable and you will be anticipated to be able to read situations to help the young people make choices that will positively impact their lives whilst also supporting colleagues in their development by leading by example.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Flexibility to work as part of a rota, including, weekends, sleep ins and bank holidays
Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Social Care for Children and Young People
Full driving licence
The ability to assist the Registered Manager and or Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the statement of purpose
