We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual with at least 1/2 years of experience in a PA or Administrative role within a professional environment (ideally within financial services). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone on the upward curve of their career, looking to learn and further develop their knowledge within the Investment Management sector. The role be focussed around administration/support duties for up to two years prior to the opportunity to further develop and take market related qualifications.

Summary:

As an Team Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent administrative support to our Investment Managers, contributing to the delivery of outstanding client outcomes. Working efficiently and effectively within our compliance framework, you will collaborate with the Assistant Investment Manager to support various Portfolio Management teams with daily administration tasks.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support as directed by the Investment Assistant Manager.
  • Supporting various teams with tasks such as writing up file notes, drafting letters, and arranging client meetings.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through accurate and timely administration support.
  • Account opening and closing, as well as the transfer of stock into accounts and payments.
  • Updating Avaloq with static data and producing Excel reports.
  • Placing trades in Avaloq when required, ensuring correct execution and booking.
  • Assisting in the preparation and administration for client pitches and meetings.
  • Supporting Investment Managers with ongoing projects.
  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks as directed by the Investment Assistant Manager.



Additional Responsibilities:

  • Undertake technical or relevant training as required.
  • Record Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to efficiency improvement initiatives and share best practices.

Competencies:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of Avaloq.
  • Understanding of Regulatory and Compliance requirements relevant to the role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal, team working, and influencing skills.
