1:1 Teaching Assistants in Portsmouth

We are looking for positive and flexible Teaching Assistants in and around Portsmouth, to join our team of Teaching/Support Staff to carry out daily supply, short term, long term and permanent contracts.

Successful candidates should be confident in supporting pupils 1:1, this involves working with pupils with speech & language needs as well as social, emotional communication needs. You should also be willing to work across the classroom in supporting all children.

We are seeking 1:1 Teaching Assistants who:

  • Are able to work as part of a team effectively
  • Is able to work with children individually or in small groups to enable them to perform to the best of their ability
  • Can support pupils with English and Maths (must have GCSE C grade or equivalent)
  • Are local to Portsmouth or willing to travel
