We are working with a primary school in Hemel Hempstead that is looking for a Teaching Assistant (TAs) to start working with them in September 2024, The school are particularly interested in Psychology and criminology graduates who are aspiring Education Psychologists/Clinical Psychologists/Occupational Therapists.

Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Area: Special Educational Needs

Salary: £140 - £150 per day depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of additional needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities that meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Support students with their emotional and social development, helping them to build confidence and resilience.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Commute to Hemel Hempstead.
