Teaching Assistant needed in Mansfield

Have you ever supported primary aged children with their learning? Do you have a passion for helping others to thrive and develop?

We have an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to work closely with primary schools based in Mansfield who require both ad-hoc and long-term cover.

What would working as a teaching assistant entail?

  • Working hours of 8.15am to 3.45pm
  • Supporting children on both a 1:1 and group basis
  • Implementing creative ideas to bring children on course
  • Having knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
  • Adhering to the school safeguarding policy and ensuring the safety of all pupils in your care
  • Adhering to the school behaviour policy

What do you need to become a teaching assistant with us?

  • Experience supporting children within a primary classroom setting
  • A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Desireable)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process a new one
  • A 'can do' attitude
  • A personable and nurturing approach
