Teaching Assistant Required

Start Date: September 2024

Location: South Birmingham

Rate of Pay: £80-£100

Empowering Learning is working alongside a Primary School based in South Birmingham that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them in September 2024. Working alongside the class teacher, the successful candidate will work with pupils either in small groups or on 1:1 basis.

The role of teaching assistant is a rewarding role, one where no 2 days are the same. You will play a pivotal role in the teaching and learning and be instrumental in the developmental of pupils.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and approachable individual who has a passion for improving the outcomes for all young people.

To be a successful for this role, you must have,

• Have a level 2 or level 3 qualification.
• Have demonstrable experience of having worked within a class room setting.
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
• Have a passion for education and for changing outcomes for all pupils
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Have a DBS that is on the update service or be willing to pay £51 for a new DBS to be done.
