Teaching Assistant

Salary - £94-£100/day

Hours - 37 hours per week, term time only

TEACHING ASSISTANT x3 - Preston

Prospero Teaching is working with a through a Primary mainstream school based in Preston.

Our client has instructed us to recruit 3 Teaching Assistants on temporary to permanent basis (temp - perm).

The school caters for EYFS & Primary aged children, many of whom have EHCP's - Education, Health and Care Plans.

Some students have a diagnosis of Autism (ASC) with associated communication and social, emotional, mental health needs (SEMH).

The school is looking to appoint 3 Teaching Assistants to support students in their academic learning and personal and social development.

You must have previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant, however experience of working with children and young people with autism will be beneficial. If you are a creative or sporty person or someone with experience of supporting people with mental health issues, your application will be considered.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
