Teaching Assistant

Hays are currently looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to fill vacancies across the Wigan area. There are a number of primary schools who are seeking support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and we have recently seen a huge increase in demand for individuals ready to start on an immediate basis.
Your new role
The jobs we have are dependent on the needs of each school and can be on a full or part-time basis. Working as a supply teaching assistant suits those who have a passion for working with children and can be flexible and adaptable to suit their needs. We are currently looking for TA's who have a desire to work with children either as a full class or taking a small group to improve core skills such as reading and writing. There is a variety of TA roles available in both mainstream and SEN schools, so if you are interested in finding out more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. You should be available to start immediately and commit fully to the role. SEN experience would also be desirable in this role, however, it is not essential as it will depend on the school you are placed in.
