Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support to students with special educational needs (ASD) on an individual basis
• Assist in the implementation of customised learning plans and necessary accommodations
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere, fostering the academic and social growth of the child
• Work closely with teachers and fellow staff to monitor progress and adjust support strategies as required
• Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers, offering updates on the child's progress and addressing any concerns

Requirements:

• Preferred experience working with children with special educational needs
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to impacting young learners' lives positively
• Dedication to ongoing professional development, embracing new strategies and techniques
