An Independent SEMH special school in Blackheath is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work with their pupils. Candidates for this role must have a minimum of 3 months of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs.

  • Assist in classroom activities and educational tasks.

  • Implement individual education plans effectively.

  • Utilize positive behavior management strategies.

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.

  • Foster positive student relationships and offer emotional support.

  • Help develop students' social skills and confidence.
