Teaching Assistant
CloudStone Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school based in Surrey. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. From assisting in classroom activities to providing individualised attention, the role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the needs of individual students
- Support students in their learning journey by providing one-on-one guidance and encouragement
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported
- Help with the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources
- Supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for student success
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and respond to changing priorities
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or child development are advantageous but not essential
