Job Description:

Are you enthusiastic about supporting students' learning and development? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Brent. This role offers the opportunity to play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

  • Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborating with the classroom teacher to create and deliver engaging learning activities and experiences.
- Providing individualized support to students who require additional assistance with their learning, including those with special educational needs or disabilities.
- Assisting with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources to support teaching and learning.
- Supporting students in developing essential skills, such as literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills.
- Promoting positive behavior and fostering a safe and supportive classroom environment.
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the overall well-being and success of students.
- Assisting with the assessment of student progress and providing feedback to support their learning journey.

  • Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively in a dynamic educational setting.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development as required.
