We need Teaching Assistants to work as supply cover Teaching Assistants in Primary schools across Milton Keynes. There will be an opportunity to work in daily, weekly, short, or long-term assignments, which in some cases can lead to a permanent contract.
This is a really rewarding role where you will make a real and positive difference to the education of the students that you support!
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the class teacher in the teaching and day to day running of the classroom.
- Supporting children individually or in small groups with their learning journeys, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of resources
- Helping with activities and play-based learning opportunities.
- Working with the class teacher and colleagues to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Providing feedback to the class teacher on children’s progress and any concerns observed during interactions.

Newstaff are committed to safeguarding children; the successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS with further vetting checks including references. If you have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months in the past 10 years you will need to provide overseas ‘police good conduct’ check.
Please note this role is only suitable to candidates that live within commutable distance to Milton Keynes.
