Are you a compassionate and committed individual with a background in supporting children and young people? Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for secondary schools in Nantwich!

Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Nantwich

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Pay: £85 - £95 per day

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to students at KS3, KS4, and those with SEN, assisting them in reaching their full potential. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing tailored one-to-one support to address individual learning needs
  • Assisting teachers in implementing effective learning strategies
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting students' emotional and social development

If you have relevant experience, a strong grasp of the curriculum, and possess the energy and engaging personality necessary to connect with secondary school students and help them reach their full potential, we want to hear from you!

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or transferable child-based experience
  • Experience supporting students with SEND is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
  • An Enhanced DBS check, or the willingness to undergo one
