Teaching Assistants required to support on a 1-2-1 and whole class basis at this vibrant and welcoming special school. We are currently recruiting for several Level 2 ad Level 3 Teaching Assistants for both immediate and September starts. This school is an excellent SEND setting that supports children with moderate leaning needs and Autism. Staff are supportive and the Headteacher is looking for Teaching Assistants who love making a difference.

As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be supporting on a 1-2-1 or whole class basis in small classes of no more than 8 children. You will work closely with experienced teaching staff and other Teaching Assistants to ensure that every child is nurtured and supported appropriately. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge within special educational needs.
Job Role:
  • Supporting within a small class of children with additional needs.
  • Providing tailored group support with children who have a range of special educational needs.
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils
  • Making learning fun and engaging for students with special educational needs
