Teaching Assistant required to provide 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 4 Student with a primary diagnosis of ASC. Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity working in an excellent school that provides outstanding support for Key Stage 3 & 4 students with a range of special educational needs. As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be working closely with an experienced class teacher and a dynamic team of Teaching Assistants who are committed to making a difference. You will have access to a range of excellent resources and facilities to help you provide young people with the care and support that they require to engage with lessons. This role requires a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children with special educational needs and experience supporting young people with ASC is desirable.
Job Role:
  • Supporting within a small class of secondary aged children with additional needs
  • Providing tailored 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 4 student
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils
  • Making learning fun and engaging for students with special educational needs
