We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking academy in Cambridgeshire. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students and contributing to their educational journey.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist students with their work in a mainstream school environment, particularly those with Educational Health & Care Plans.
  • Provide adapted and differentiated education to meet the needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with professionals, including teachers and support staff, to facilitate student engagement and success.
  • Ensure a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning experience for all students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement).
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Qualification in English and Maths, demonstrating competency in these core subjects.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with students.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
