Teaching Assistant
Your new role
This South Liverpool Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their school and work in their Early Years class until the end of the academic year, with the potential candidate likely to be considered for a permanent role.
This is a full-time, long-term role.
Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to provide support to the class teacher with small group work, behaviour management, setting up resources, phonics sessions. It will also be your job as the Teaching Assistant to support any pupils who require extra support on a one-to-one basis. There are a number of pupils in the class who have Special Education Needs and require 1:1 support.
What you'll need to succeed
- Teaching Assistant experience within the last two years
- At Least 30 days experience working in a Primary School or Nursery Setting
- Good understanding of the National Curriculum/ EYFS Curriculum
- Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification
