We're currently seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our Secondary School in Leeds. If you're dedicated to supporting students' learning journeys and making a positive impact in the classroom, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, assisting with lesson preparation, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Support students during exams and assessments, providing encouragement and assistance as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with children and young people is essential.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and respond effectively to changing situations.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning activities.
