Teaching Assistant

Envision Education are currently looking to appoint a number of Teaching Assistants for a school in Abbots Langley to undertake placements from as soon as possible.

We're searching for Teaching Assistants who have worked with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs, or in care settings.

TEMP-PERM ROLES

As an Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:

• Being a talented, dedicated and highly motivated educator;
• Support children with emotional and behavioral difficulties to enable them to effectively access the curriculum;
• Demonstrate high levels of care, concern and ambition for our children;
• Have relevant skills and experience to serve a diverse student community including learners with ASC and SEMH;
• A positive team player with a good sense of humor;
• Be committed to raising attainment and accelerating progress;
• Support SEN students and delivering activities on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Experience in assessing, evaluating, and reporting on pupil progress Applicants are required to have the following:
• Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills

Requirements:

• Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK
• Enjoy working with children and seeing them progress with their learning
• Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
• Either live in Abbots Langley or within a commutable distance
