Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant

Location: Rossendale

Salary: Competitive hourly rate

Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time, Part-Time

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible basis within various primary schools in East Lancashire. The successful candidates will provide support to class teachers and work with individual students or small groups to help them achieve their academic potential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
• Work with individual students or small groups to support their learning and development
• Provide feedback to the class teacher on individual student progress
• Implement behavior management strategies in line with school policies
• Carry out administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• A relevant qualification in Education or Childcare (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3)
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different school environments
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
