Your new company
Hays are currently looking for a number of Level 2 Teaching Assistants to fill vacancies across the Preston and Blackpool area. There are a number of primary schools who are seeking support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and we have recently seen a huge increase in demand for individuals ready to start on an immediate basis. We are currently looking for individuals who are Level 2/3 certified TA's to work in some of our fantastic schools across the area. These schools are looking for individuals to commit to 5 days a week to provide consistency for the children. However, we do also have part-time roles available, so don't let this put you off applying.
Your new role
In the role of teaching assistant, you are responsible for supporting pupils either during lessons, in a group setting or on a 1:1 basis, providing extra support when pupils may be struggling. You will need to support the class teacher and should possess good behaviour management skills. For these roles you will need to come in and hit the ground running by building up those relationships with pupils as well as staff. There is a variety of TA roles available in both mainstream and SEN schools, so if you are interested in finding out more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. You should be available to start in September and commit fully to the role. SEN experience would also be desirable in this role, however it is not essential as it will depend on the school you are placed in.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a highly competitive daily rate and will be working in this successful school where you will become an integral part of a welcoming team of TA's. You will therefore have the opportunity to further develop your own teaching assistant skills and experience. A dedicated consultant will always be on hand should you have any questions or concerns.
