Are you a dedicated and passionate individual seeking a fulfilling role in education? Tradewind Recruitment is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Brigg area. This role is part time between 3 days per week.

Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Brigg area

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Until at least July 2024

Our partner school is a leading mainstream institution with exceptional provisions for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Nestled in a fantastic location, the school boasts a welcoming atmosphere and is renowned for its commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a student with additional needs, offering vital support to ensure their educational journey is as enriching as possible. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing individualised assistance to the assigned student.
  • Implementing strategies to support the student's learning and development.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to adapt and tailor lessons as needed.
  • Assisting with the student's personal care and well-being.
  • Monitoring and recording progress, communicating effectively with parents and the school team.

Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of individual students.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment.
