Teaching Assistant

Location: within the borough Ealing

Hours: 8.30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £90 - £100 per day, depending on experience

Clear enhanced DBS required.

Are you looking for a role as a Teaching Assistant within the Ealing area? Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable students? This role could be for you.

Duties:

As the appointed Teaching assistant role includes the following duties :

  • Working in a secondary school environment
  • Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
  • Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff.
  • Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations.
  • Promote, support, and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources.
  • Support students with SEN and additional needs
  • Write up notes regarding your students' progress
  • You will be required to attend weekly departmental meetings cover lunch duties
