Are you looking for a new role as a Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs? If so, this may be the role for you.

We are looking for compassionate and friendly teaching assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in a KS1 class. You will be working each day 08:30 to 15:30 in an East Cardiff Primary School. This role is confirmed until the end of the academic year.

You will be:

  • Creating lesson materials.
  • Supporting the pupil with individual literacy and numeracy learning sessions.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, it is necessary that you have had experience working with pupils aged 3-11 for at least 3 months over the last 2 years. Experience working with pupils with Autism / ASD on a 1:1 basis would be preferable but not essential.
