Somerset Education Alliance are looking for a Teaching Assistant for an exciting teaching opportunity in a secondary school within Bridgewater.

The Job Role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to cover in a Bridgwater school, starting after February half term until the end of March. This is a full time, temporary position.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

- Assisting the class teacher

- Helping students when necessary

- Following safeguarding and school policies

- Liaising with school staff

Teaching Assistant Essentials

- Experience working with children, preferably in a school
- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
- A 3 year minimum reference history

- Reliability

- Excellent communication skills

- Located close to Bridgeater or able to commute
