We're proud to announce openings in our 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated partner schools located in Watford, Rickmansworth, and Abbots Langley. These schools are eager to integrate a full-time teaching assistant into their dynamic teams. Initially on a temporary basis until term's end, there's the potential for transitioning to a permanent position by September 2024. Your role will involve working closely with small groups of students and, occasionally, providing one-on-one support. Following the teachers' plans, you'll assist with literacy and numeracy interventions, among other classroom duties. Beyond academic support, you'll play a significant part in nurturing students' social and emotional well-being, accompanying them on their educational journey.

Teaching Assistant Duties and Requirements:

  • Assist students individually or in small groups to enhance their learning journey.
  • Serve as a positive influence for both students and colleagues.
  • Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff, including specialists, to promote a conducive learning environment.
  • Aid the class teacher in resource preparation and activity organisation.
  • Possess a 10-year work history and provide 2 references.
  • Hold at least a Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
