Prospero Teaching is currently working in partnership with a secondary SEND School based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

We are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting students with Autism and associated learning, communication and behavioural needs. You will have a passion for working in an inclusive and nurturing environment. You will support a small class of pupils who are working around age related expectation. The right person will be able to inspire and educate children with a variety of learning needs, possessing emotional resilience with the determination to ensure all children achieve the very best.

This is a full time, long term role, working through Prospero Teaching.

Requirements:

Experience working with children and young people
Specific experience working with children with Autism
A resilient attitude and range of behaviour management techniques
Team Teach trained would be beneficial to this role
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
