In this role, you'll be instrumental in fostering a nurturing learning environment that prioritises student well-being and empowers them to achieve their utmost potential. Your duties may encompass providing care support, implementing positive behaviour management strategies, and tailoring your approach to meet each child's unique needs. By forging strong bonds with students, you'll cultivate a safe and enjoyable atmosphere conducive to independence, personal growth, and exemplary conduct.

Collaborating closely with the class teacher, you'll contribute to delivering a dynamic and differentiated curriculum aimed at unlocking every student's full potential across all facets of learning. Experience & Qualifications:

  • Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
  • Classroom experience is desirable
  • GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential.
  • Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
  • Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
  • Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
  • Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs
