Secondary Teaching Assistant- Leeds

Full-time / temporary to permanent contract

NextGen Teachers are recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School located in Leeds who are seeking to appoint a number of Teaching Assistants to support a variety of subjects in classes of up to 30 students. This role will involve minimising and assisting with classroom disruption, managing behaviour, supporting students with their work and, assisting with students with additional needs (including SEND).

The school is looking for passionate and enthusiastic candidates who are interested in shaping the future generation and working in a highly rewarding role.

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has experience working with Secondary students and who has a degree level qualification and a genuine passion to make a difference and support in education.

Successful applications will have:

  • A-Levels, Degree Qualified or higher qualification
  • Previous professional or personal experience with Secondary aged students in a professional capacity
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
