Teaching Assistant - Margate

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant passionate about making a difference?

Do you have experience of supporting generally within a primary class or on a small group or 1:1 basis?

Academics are currently working with an Ofsted rated 'good' school in Margate who are looking for a kind, confident and inclusive Teaching Assistant to join their school on a full time basis from September 2024 or sooner.

The school offer fantastic opportunities for progression, facilities and a learning environment where children and staff feel happy, safe and confident.

They are looking for an individual with previous experience of supporting children of all abilities and with a range of SEND.

Successful Candidates will:

  • Have experience of working in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Classroom Settings
  • Have a team player approach
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have experience of supporting children of all learning abilities
  • Have strong behaviour management and good communication skills
  • Level 2 or 3 Qualified in Childcare or Supporting the Teaching and Learning in Schools (Desirable not Essential)
