Position: Teaching Assistant

Contract: Temporary

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to the teacher, assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and address areas of difficulty.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Assist with the supervision of students during break times, outings, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting.
• Strong understanding of educational principles and practices, particularly within the context of primary or secondary education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and support the overall goals of the school.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
