REED Education are currently working with several schools in Grimsby and the surrounding area who are looking for teaching assistants to begin work after February Half Term.

The jobs could be based across a wide variety of year groups from EYFS to Upper Key Stage 2. The bookings could also be for day-to-day roles, short term or long-term depending on your availability. Supply is fantastic for those who want more flexibility with their work, or who want to gain a wealth of experience working in different schools.

Your main responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the teacher with the delivery of lessons, recognising where a child may need support or challenge
  • Strong behaviour management skills and ability to use the school’s behaviour plan
  • Friendly and supportive to the children in the class
  • General knowledge of the curriculum and statutory testing
