P/T Teaching Assistant Needed ASAP!
Five Education is currently working with mainstream schools and invites applications from enthusiastic individuals to work with a dedicated and energetic team.
the school is situated in a lovely countryside area, near Cheddar. The school is very welcoming and supportive to any new people. The successful candidate for this role will likely need access to a car.
Experience in ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder) would be advantageous, as this Role is a one-to-one successful candidate, would establish a rapport with children and engage with them quickly.

The hours are.
3 x days a week 8.30 am -3.30 pm Mon-Wed- Excluding School Holidays
(6.5 Hours + 30 Minute Unpaid Lunch Break)

As this is a Temp role.
Daily Rate: £83-£95* per day depending on experience

*This rate includes Holiday pay.

Responsibilities and duties:
- Guiding students - Supporting 1:1 and small groups of pupils
- Build trusting and constructive relationships with pupils.
- Be a team player - Work with the school to ensure the best support and care.
- Encourage engagement and development in a child's learning.
- Set challenges to promote self-esteem and independence.
- Provide Feedback to both teachers and pupils.
- Encourage socialisation and good behaviour through being patient and empathetic.
Essential Criteria:
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Right to work in the UK
- Valid/relevant DBS
- Two recent references
- 10 years (or nearest) work history

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fees or employers' NI. We are also proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
