Your New SchoolHays Education is one of the market-leading agencies in West Yorkshire and is now looking for Teaching Assistants in the area to assist with the rising demand for supply staff. Hays has built long-lasting relationships with local secondary schools in Wakefield and has a commitment to getting the right candidate in the right schools.
Your New RoleThe roles we have are dependent on the needs of each school, and can be on a full or part-time basis. Working as a supply Teaching Assistant suits those who have a passion for working within a school and can be flexible and adaptable, due to the diversity of the schools we work with. We are currently looking for TA's who have a desire to work with children. This could be within a full classroom, or taking a small group to improve a core skill, for example, reading, or provide 1:1 care for an individual child with SEN.
What You'll Need to SucceedExperience working with secondary aged children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years, either as a Teaching Assistant or as a volunteer within a youth organisation, sports coaching etc.
